At its July 15th meeting the Junction School Board voted unanimously to place a $3,100,000 facilities bond on the November ballot. The measure will fund the modernization of school classrooms, playgrounds, and campus with special emphasis on improving the schools technology infrastructure to supoport instruction and student achievement.
"The bond measure is designed to assure that students will have a state of the art learning environment that reflects the commitment of both the school and the Palo Cedro community to the highest quality education for its children," said Superintendent Biff Barnes. |
| Music Program Receives Grant for Instruments |
We are happy to announce that the Music Program will receive over $6,000 in grant funds raised by Don Burton of K-Shasta (KSHA 104.3 FM) Radio, a Junction music alum. The grant money will be used to purchase instruments with the assistance of Al Mires of Music Max here in Palo Cedro. Thanks to both Don and Al for their wonderful support for music at Junction. |
