Welcome to the Junction Family. My name is Linda Gifford and I love being part of the Junction staff. This is my eighth year teaching at Junction. I have taught 2nd grade, Reading Intervention, and currently Transitional Kindergarten. I feel that I have found my niche in Transitional Kindergarten.  I love the innocence and wonder of these amazing children.

I am a graduate of Sacramento State University with a BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Multi-Cultural Studies.  I received my Multiple Subject teaching credential from Simpson University in 2007. I also hold the ECE Site Supervisor Credential. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an expected completion date of Spring 2023.

I grew up in the Redding area and I love living in the North State.  My hobbies are spending time in the outdoors, including camping, hiking, kayaking and gardening. I love to explore nature and love sharing what I find with children.  I look forward to meeting your children. Feel free to stop by and say hello.
