 "Every child deserves a champion - an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best that they can possibly be."  

During my 19 years in teaching, I have had the opportunity to teach at almost each grade level.  The past 10 years, I have been at the middle school where I am currently teaching mathmatics to grades 7-8, 8th Grade Social Studies, small group Rti, and College and Career Readiness.  I am the 8th Grade Advisor, Athletic Director and the advisor for CJSF.  I love coming to school every day and I enjoy making subjects come alive.

My husband and I have been together 36 years. We have 2 amazing children.  My daughter is a graduate from Chico State and is teaching 6th grade math and science at Junction Middle School.  My son is a graduate from Texas Tech with a Bachelors is Mechanical Engineering and minors in Business and Mathematics.  He is living in Dallas, Texas and works as an Engineer for a Accident Reconstruction company.   My step-daughter is a dispatch supervisor for Campbell PD.  She is married and has twins who will be five in December.  We moved from the Bay Area to Palo Cedro 21 years ago so we could give our children a better childhood filled with outdoors and a family style community.  

 Although we are in unusual and ever changing times,  I am excited about this coming school year.  We will work hard, work smart and have some fun along the way.
